Modified copper clutch

A number of friends in my Vespa club have some shuddering problems during acceleration in the morning, its not a big deal but its kind of annoying actually. To solve this problem, we did some modification to the clutch and voila, problem solved with abit better acceleration. Cheers ! Hope this helps...

  1. I have the same problem and read over on modernvespa.com to spray brake cleaner into the bell. However yours seems a better solution. Is this a whole new clutch assembly and if so, where did you get it?

  2. Hi,

The spray won't work for long, this copper clutch really solves the problem and you get better acceleration response. Picture is from stock clutch assembly but with modified copper parts, its done here locally at an aftermarket motorcycle shop. I'm sure you can find some motorcycle shop in your country to modified the copper clutch assembly, just show him my pictures. Hope this helps.

    Cheers,

    Sam
